Punt Road is celebrating with news breaking that Dono43 will officially coach the club - effective immediately. This announcement has dashed the hopes of other candidates, including Rizzo, @benty83 and Todd Goldstein among others. http://s8.zetaboards.com/AFFL/topic/8573675/1/#new A source close to the truth confirmed that a crude bet was placed on eaglesfan at 5001/1. But in the end - common sense prevailed... WELCOME DONO43!!! |

It was remiss of me to not mention that the same 'new coach' trading rules will apply for Dono. Any trades must be discussed with JM prior to confirmation. Again this is not designed to prevent trades, but rather act as a checking mechanism to ensure that the new coach doesn't irreversibly damage the list in the opening week. |

Welcome Dono, think we all feel pretty confident that you'll fit in well here. The Richmond list needs a lot of work and it'll be interesting to see how you go about it. Just stay away from Gav and you'll be fine. |

Gav traded me Kreuzer and Rosa for Mitch Clark and Scott Selwood in my first week here. He's not all bad. |

This afternoon Richmond Tigers CEO Jake "The Push Up" King held a Press Conference to unveil their new coach after the shock sacking of Wacky Tiger. The press gallery waited with baited breathe as King announced that their new coach Dono43 would coach there side for the remainder of this season, and that he had signed a 5 year contract which would take him through to 2021. "I am extremely pleased to be leading this very proud club and I look forward to working with the players and also the other managers in the league over the next 5 years." said Dono. "It's a dream come true to join this league, which I feel is one of the great fantasy competitions in the country." The list of accolades for Dono as a coach in Fantasy Football league is long, being the reigning premiership coach of the Belmont Bluedevils in the UFO competition (one that I play in) as well as a 3 time premiership coach in the FPL competition (which I CEO) so it is obvious he has some knowledge about what he is doing. However, AFFL is a different beast, and he knows the challenge to bring the struggling Tigers outfit into finals contention firstly will be a big one. "It's an enormous challenge, and one that certainly won't happen overnight, but I definitely have a plan in mind and we will see what happens from there. Plenty of coaches have already offered me trade proposals, and I will get back to each and every one of you over the coming days, but firstly I need to look our list thoroughly and determine where we go. It''s a big process, and something that we won't rush." Dono's first chance at glory come this week as they take on North Melbourne, who currently sit 12th, just one spot below the Tigers on the same number of wins. |

Plymouth-Argyle would still be a good result. |
