Gold Coast 107 def. Sydney 102 Hawthorn 103 def. Geelong 92 St. Kilda 95 def. Collingwood 76 Richmond 95 def. Essendon 50 Adelaide 85 def. Brisbane 55 North Melbourne 84 def. West Coast 45 Melbourne 81 def. Greater Western Sydney 74 Carlton 77 def. Western Bulldogs Non-Submission Fremantle 77 def. Port Adelaide 63 Big week that one, strong wins for the mighty Golden Coast, Hawthorn and Melbourne. Stone would be hoping for much better than low 90's if he's looking to genuinely challenge, these kinds of games are what shapes the top 4 at seasons end. Great week of AFFL action.

Ladder Position per round![]() ![]() Gold Coast take top spot after defeating Sydney and knocking them out of the position for the first time this season. Adelaide's recent rise back up the ladder continues as they move into the top 8 for the first time this season. A month of matches against tough opposition sees Collingwood drop down again. The pies have dropped 9 spots in just 3 weeks and their recent trades suggest a refocus on a post-2016 challenge, although I'd expect them to still be in the mix come finals time this year. |

I'll work out my best 22 score for the draft ladder tonight. |

God damn, Gold Coast, Hawthorn & St. Kilda all within 2 total points of each other after 8 weeks. Tightest year at the top as there's ever been I'm sure. |
