Really like this for Gav, but then again I've had Gilbert out of St Kilda's 22 for the last three years but he keeps getting games. |

Gilbert is definitely in St Kildas best 22. He was scoring quite well apart from when he got injured. |

I sincerely hope you're wrong, if he continues to get games it means that were having another bottom four year without any developing youngsters |

Judd outscores Gray, Gilbert outscores Reilly and Myers outscores the late third rounder .. and yet Gav smashes it? |

Yeah Gav doesnt "smash" it, but certainly the Gray/Judd part of the deal is a big advantage to Gav given 2014 will be Judd's last year (IMO). |

Reilly and Myers are both, to put it lightly, shit cunts with little value. Judd is in his last year, yes he'll outscore Gray this year, but Gray is SF and supremely more valuable than Judd, so yeah, Gav smashes it. |

Good thing that I was the one who traded out Brent Reilly then. And I've also already on traded David Myers. Agree that Gray was the most valuable, but his value outweighs his output. I had to capitalise on that. |

Gilbert* My bad, though Reilly is a shit cunt too. Not sure how Gray's value outweighs his output, averaging 82 as a SF in his first year back from a knee reco with several sub-affected games? You could do worse. |

Eh, I can't be bothered explaining my theory. Gray is a good small forward, but I get a good deal in return. I'm happy with that. |

- Gav gets the best valued player. - RLL gets the best scorer, and wins on both the 2nd and 3rd parts of the deal. Gray has averaged 90 once in his career (90.4 to be exact)... Outside that season he's never averaged over 85. For someone so highly regarded, he doesn't really have the runs on the board for a bloke who's been in the system 8 years now. Don't get me wrong I like this for Gav also, but I can't see how it's as one-sided as you're making out TBNB. |

Because looking at Judd Vs. Gray, the main part of the deal (aka the only part of the deal not made up of complete shit cunts), it's a fucking rape to Gav. Where RLL loses: 1. Judd being in his last year, think it's pretty much a foregone conclusion that 2014 will be his last, so unless RLL's intending on going all out this year, he doesn't add a whole lot. Adding to that, if RLL is going all out for a flag this year, guys like Chris Judd averaging 99 a game just don't do it. 2. Positioning, Gray's a SF, Judd's a mid, easy one. 3. Value, as mentioned Gray's value is very, very high, comparing what you could get for Gray to what you could get for Juddy is a pretty one sided affair. Where RLL wins: 1. He gets an additional 17 points SC points a game, not taking into account the multiple games Gray was sub-affected coming back from a knee reco. Call me crazy, but it seems a hell of a lot to pay for not even one AFFL point per week. |

Oh, and if you're going to use Sam Gilbert and David Myers as justification for your side, I'm claiming the win on default. |
