Spud (at least to me) is a relative term.

Do I think he's near as good as people say? Nope. Was he good in the SANFL? Average. Do I think he'll be a star? Nope.

Plus, I said South Australian draft talent. Crouch is neither from South Australia nor did he have a 'senior' junior year due to being at the crows.

Sanderson likens him to Dangerfield.

Coming off 31 possies (14 contested), and then 26 possies.

Stife still doesn't rate him. Seems legit.

Planning on making the 8 next season.
I genuinely like hearing this from you Snappy, certainly curious as to whether you think your current list is going to get you there, or do you plan on going all out at the trade table in the off-season?
Unfinished business.

I believe I am heading in the right direction, I do have some value on my list which will become crucial when I push from 60's to 80's.

My team is far from complete and I am the first to acknowledge that. That's why at this point in time it's crucial that I fill in vitial positions so I can actually field a full 22 each week. Once I actually have 22, then I can upgrade from there.

I don't think 80s will get anyone to finals. We see Esky in genuine 8th this season who's pushing out 100s and Lummas in genuine 9th who's pushing out 90s.

It's the first time in AFFL where the 8th team really is capable of winning it on a good day.

The 8th team is capable of beating a higher ranked team on a good day, no doubt.

I dont think Eski can win "it" (being the premiership) considering he needs to have 4 "good days" against 4 higher ranked teams in successive weeks.

I get the whole "anythings possible" approach, but highly, highly unlikely.

Agree with your comments about 80s not cutting it though.
