kennelly avg more, pretty straight fwd from your end stife. I always liked young, thought his penetrating kick would've equated to better fantasy scores, but apparently not - he's pretty average (still in Hawks best 22 when available). but 25 y/o vs 31 y/o, plus a pick upgrade was my reasoning. |

young has lost his spot to suckling and smith.. when he didnt play on a wing he played half back.. both suckling and Isaac have more of an impact in those roles compared to him.. |

Ironic why the medical staff are trying to rush him back from his ankle injury if he's "lost his spot" But agree those two have gone past him, throw savage in also. With bruce, burgoyne, sewell etc all winding down in a few seasons, id expect Young to be kept around. |

i do still prefer your side of the deal.. as there is a greater chance of young being able to offer value.. its just that his in the same boat as those guys you mentioned.. bateman, ladson, bruce, young etc have been put on the back seat similar to what lockyer, o'bree and presti had done to them last year.. the injection of youth in sucko, smith, savage, shiels, puopolo, breust has led Hawthorn to being the good side they have remained this season even with the significant injuries they have endured.. |

Agree with all bar young. He's been injured a lot, not dropped for form reasons. And unlike obree and lockyer who were 30 odd during the era u refer to, young is 25... I'm not writing him off as a footballer. His shit at fantasy, but got a future as a player. |

Geelong win this trade I think. Kennelly has been very poor of late, hasn't got over 70 the last 6 weeks. With St.Kilda and Geelong next two opponents that trend will continue. Young whether at Hawthorn or at another club next year, will improve. |

Not sure but iirc he was spoken about potentially getting traded last year. AS mentioned, with Suckling and Smith playing there best footy this year it might be hard for Young to get back in the side. Value there for other clubs |

Tbh so long as he's still in the system, couldn't care where he's playing. Reality is, Young probably wont be in my safeguarded 22, so he's cheap pickings for GWS/GC unless anyone wants him for a decent pick or something (i.e. Obviously not one in the first two rounds, but definitly not keen on a 5th or 6th) |
