Confirmed.

Am prepared to take heat for it but in the end I think its a pretty fair deal.

Suban I like and will continue to develop. How much? Anyone's guess but he will develop into a nice player regardless.

McGrath is obviously a short term prospect, basically a Guerra clone without the fanfare. Get's his 75-80's consistently.

Did the deal for Pyke though. The big Canadian has come on this year and am hoping he will continue to develop. Not going to say this is what I think he has in store for us, but scores of 93 + 114 in the final two rounds has given me enough hope to take a punt on him.

Pyke's the loss here for me.

I really like him - and if hadn't sold the farm to get McEvoy I wouldn't have traded him.

But with McEvoy + Roughead as my two ruckmen, big men aren't a priority for me - but finding guys who can fill my small defender spots in 2011 onwards are.

Suban fits the bill. In Freo's best 22, a thumping kick - nicely set up to be a good SC'er. As soon as he averages more than McGrath did I've won this deal - but McGrath wasn't a long-term option for me.
