With the opening post updated regarding how Gold Coast and West Sydney will enter the competition, an official decision on the trading of future draft picks will be made either today or tomorrow.

I am absolutely dead set keen on taking over GWS and would like to be considered to coach them.

It was incredibly hard to find a suitable coach for Port Adelaide, but everyone is willing to take GC or WS. Go figure.

Well if you're going to have a go then if anyone should've been volunteering for that job shouldn't it be the coach with two premierships already? ;)

The same coach who publicly stated his desire for a three-peat after the first premiership?

So you're the only coach with objectives?

AWTA. RLL expects everyone else to shift and change because he wants a three peat. We all have goals for the teams we have, yeah, but, we're willing to not complete them for the good of the site. I'd have moved to port if need be.

I don't actually see how it's really got anything to do with me.

I just find it strange that everyone is keen to take on a team that will most likely be weak in it's first few years, but they wouldn't take on a similar challenge in Port Adelaide.

RLL can still manage GWS or GC... and I still think he will end up as one of those managers. We dont need a manager until after this season so he can still have a shot at his flag and then piss off to a new club.

Certainly exciting times for this game. The game really is going to become stronger and stronger with all these new implementations, and the fact that so many people are giving their help and ideas to help better the site is incredible. We really do have a great bunch of coaches right now and I just hope everyone sticks around as we've never really had a long period with the same coaches.

I haven't made my feelings known about this but I did vote yes on trading future picks.

GC/GWS will require one of the current coaches to take them over no doubt, we cannot risk someone without proven long term commitment to the game taking over a new team.

I would be surprised if there weren't at least 2 coaches willing to swap over, and it looks like there already is. I would certainly consider it and would definantly do it if it was the alternative to a new coach taking over. I would have my money on still being Hawthorn coach then though.

I have no interest in either team ;)

I voted no in the poll, even if its too late and in the minority.
