The admin team have gone through all of this seasons games one by one and found the changes that needed to be made for the draft ladder...

Fremantle v Richmond, Round 2
http://s8.zetaboards.com/AFFL/topic/10010411/1/
Fremantle +8 points, +1 win
Richmond -1 win

Geelong v Hawthorn, Round 4
http://s8.zetaboards.com/AFFL/topic/10010908/1/#new
Geelong +3 points

Geelong v West Bulldogs, Round 5
http://s8.zetaboards.com/AFFL/topic/10011106/2/
Western Bulldogs + 5 points

Geelong v Port Adelaide, Round 10
http://s8.zetaboards.com/AFFL/topic/10012254/1/#new
Geelong +2 points

WBulldogs v Hawthorn, Round 11
http://s8.zetaboards.com/AFFL/topic/10012422/1/#new
Hawthorn +8 points

WCE v WBD, Round 13
http://s8.zetaboards.com/AFFL/topic/10012788/1/#new
West Coast +16 points

Essendon v Brisbane, Round 13
http://s8.zetaboards.com/AFFL/topic/10012787/1/#new
Essendon +2 points

Richmond v WBD, Round 14
http://s8.zetaboards.com/AFFL/topic/10012963/1/#new
Richmond +2 points

Hawthorn v Port, Round 15
http://s8.zetaboards.com/AFFL/topic/10013197/2/#new
Port Adelaide +9 points, +1 win
Hawthorn -1 win

With all these results the only change to the current ladder order was Carlton moving from 9th spot to 8th spot and Richmond going down from 8th spot to 9th spot.

Official 2017 Draft Ladder

We have decided that for the 2017 draft purposes that we would like to honor the message the draft ladder sends and therefore Richmond 2017 1st pick will be locked into the 9th selection no matter how their finals campaign goes from here.

That would then lock in Carlton's 2017 1st pick to the 10th selection.

So as the reverse draft ladder goes the current order would be

#1 - Essendon 1st
#2 - West Coast 1st
#3 - Collingwood 1st
#4 - Geelong 1st
#5 - St Kilda 1st
#6 - Fremantle 1st
#7 - Western Bulldogs 1st
#8 - Collingwood (GCS/GWS Draft)
#9 - Richmond 1st
#10 - Carlton 1st

The remaining picks will be decided upon completion of the finals series.

This order will obviously also roll into the remaining rounds.

Moving towards 2018 we would love to hear some suggestions on how we might be able to improve the draft ladder system to try and avoid these issues.

Cheers
