That depends. Would he have gone full rebuild without bringing in his first? If not, then all I've done is give up a pick which I would never have had access to anyway. Plus I've still got Geelong's 2nd, which will get a value boost and hopefully help me push through another trade. |

Can't wait to have Boof trading with the contenders again, also good to see Stone actually try to build a list now too. Great work all-round boys. |

The trade was dependant on me getting my pick back, so Schulz didn't trade for massive unders. Plus, the pick wont be "that" good. Geelong will still field a competitive team this yr. |

Well, then, yeah. If I'd kept the pick it still would've been mid-teens anyway. And my Geelong 2nd would've stayed at around 30. So basically I traded #20 this year and what will now be mid-20's next year for what would've been mid-teens next year and what would've been a 30-ish pick next year. So meh. |

I was talking about my first Schulz! Obviously a big call for both coaches, we both had cold feet at different stages over the past few days but I'm happy in the end. As I said in my trade thread, I felt before taking over the Brisbane gig that I needed to prove myself as a rebuilder, I think I've done that with the improvements I've made over the past 13 months. Now the real test that has eluded me so often, bagging a premiership. There's plenty of work to be done, but still plenty to work with on my list. Best of luck to Stoney with his new challenge, I'm happy that I've left the young starlets in such good hands. Now. . . . where's Jobe Watson? |

I've already traded your first as part of the NicNat deal. You'll have successfully given WAG the shits though. Funnily enough, as part of that same deal I traded Brisbane 2nd for Geelong 2nd as an upgrade for him

Even then I had a feeling something like this might happen. About 5 minutes after I brought in your picks I was already offering them around elsewhere. |

Interesting trade in terms of market value. It's essentially one elite young piece for one elite older piece / one mid range young piece for one mid range older piece, which certainly isn't how it used to work. Like it though. |
