Hi, i have eventually joined up after being told what a great sight this was from a few existing members. Up until now i have generally hung out around Fordforums.
I purchased my car around 4 years ago after it basically fell in my lap. I had previously owned and sold a Xb coupe many years ago.
The plan was to do the car up, but the farther i looked the worse it got, and soon turned into a major rebuild. Luckily i have a back ground in vehicle painting and metalwork and was able to do most of the work myself.
I took hundreds of pictures of all parts of the rebuild , here are some to give you an idea.

Hi Recoil, welcome. I followed this thread on FF and was amazed at the work you did, that is a hell of a job and a fantastic coupe you have there. I wish i could do half of the things you have done.
Cheers,
Brett

Didn't tell me it was originally blue.
Yes it was originally an Aqua colour as you can see in the engine bay. The darker blue was done with a rattle can, and would come off on your hands if you rubbed it.
