Welcome aboard Lance and I hope your stay here at 7th Fleet is a good one. Now if you would please write me up a sample of your work. Using these guidelines. Must written as your desired position. Should Include both Dialog and action. The story is as follows. You are on the bridge when a fleet of warbirds appears and starts firing knocking out your warp drive., The captain instructs you to head into the nearby asteroid field to help keep the warbirds at bay while the warpdive is fixed. The bridge shook violently and sparks flew all around as the warbirds fired, and Lance was barely able to keep himself at his station. Nonetheless, he held firm. He attempted to engage warp, but the LCARS display at his station gave him a message. "Warp drive is offline!" Lance reported aloud to the Captain. "Options?" the Captain asked. With several taps on the LCARS, Lance quickly did a short scan of the local area. "A local asteroid field, enough space to squeeze us through." "Adjust heading and get inside," the Captain ordered. "See if you can hold 'em off." "Aye sir," the chief CONN officer replied. With his fingers dancing across the LCARS at his station, Lance adjusted the ship's heading directly for the asteroid field. He needed to do some seriously attentive piloting to keep the ship intact, all the while dodging the pursuing warbirds. With some steady maneuvering, he managed to guide the ship to slip past two large adjacent asteroids, which collided just as the ship emerged, cutting the warbird pursuit for the moment. "This is gonna be one bumpy ride..." Lance said as he continued to navigate the asteroid field. OOC: I can add more if you want, but will this be enough? |
