*This is the new mission thread. Please read the OCC section to know what is going and feel free to post. remember that we are a little over a month past the last mission. Also try not to talk about the last mission until we can get the ending worked out.

"Sorry about the rough flight Lt." a pilot said looking behind him into the cabin of the shuttle.

"Pft...no worries flyboy i have been through worse." Cyrus said grabbing his duffel and heading to his quarters to unpack from a short shore leave on the planet Miti. Right as he stepped out of the shuttle bay one of his assistants were there to greet him.

"Welcome back LT." The man said saluting and tying to hand cyrus a Padd" Here are the reports and a message about...."

"Damn boy i just got done with a 4 hour flight with a damn fleeter the last thing i want is to go through your poorly written reports." Cyrus said putting his duffel on his back and started walking away.

"Sir, the message was from Colonel MacNamara. She says to expect her tomorrow at 0900 hours."

"Well, fuck me....alright that changes nothing now take your damn reports and scoot. He replied shaking his head walking to his quarters. ~MacNamara huh...last time I seen her was when i left her room back at the academy at 0200 in the morning....gawd I hope she forgot.....~ he thought as he reached his door.

M'Kalek growled in frustration as she lay on her back on the bridge, the guts of the helm console spread out around her, hyperspanner gripped with her teeth. "Almost done..." she reported as she struggled with a particularly stubborn display adapter. "I just have to replace this last adapter, and your helm officers will be able to see what they are doing." She leaned up to put all her weight into pulling the device free from the console. "Just gotta use a little brute..."

WHAM! The adapter jerked free without warning, causing her to injure her snout and curse in a rather obscure language. "Scheiße! That was smart of me..." The Caitian set the device down, then wiped her nose onto her engineering jumpsuit, giving a slight sigh as she realized she had bloodied her nose. "And I was looking forward to some quiet time after getting this finished." she muttered, starting the process of installing the new adapter.

Once the Naphalai had completed its mission they went to starbase 309 for some rest and recreation, Vinnie had not seen Jessica, T'Nora or M'Kalek since going over to the station, he was bored and had noone really to talk to, so he went back to the ship. Vinnie took the lift up to the bridge and got off just as his hearing picked up a few words in an unknown language with a bang, sounded probably like a curse. He moved to look over the tactical station and saw a pair of legs under helm.

"I might have known I would find you here." Vinnie said.

Vinnie heard a thump and a string of words, she slid out from under the console and glared at him. Vinnie smiled at her. she was cute when mad, maybe he could get used to her, it would take a little bit of adjusting but who knows.

<M'Kalek>

"I got bored, not much on the station that interests me, so I figured I would come here and finish up some paperwork and grab a bite to eat, if you are not to busy, why don't you join me, take a break." Vinnie suggested.

M'Kalek gave a soft smile as she worked, thankful for the friendly voice instead of an angry captain. "Being sprawled out in the front of the bridge isn't exactly my ideal place." she joked, leaning her head back to give a forced smile to Vinnie. "But what brings you up here?" She asked curiously as she works to put the console back together.

The Caitian gave a more honest smile this time, shoving the rest of the components loose into the casing of the console, and shuts the hatch. "A break sounds REALLY good at the moment, Kaylee has me working ragged on double shifts." she admitted as she pulled herself out from under the console. "On the station, or on the ship?" she asked.

Vinnie walked over and held out his hand, to help her up.

She smiled softly and gripped his hand tight as she stood, her free hand dusting off her yellow engineering jumpsuit. "Thanks, sir..." she said with a bit of exaustion in her breath. "I really needed this one."

"I think I walked into a curse, especially the sound before, so it made sense that whatever word you used must have been colorful. We can eat here on the ship, if you don't mind I can cook unless you prefer replicated," He said in honesty.

"I could use some freshly cooked food for once, my room-mate won't let me cook in our room, she claims she never met an engineer whom could cook." she smiled. "So yeah, some non-replicated food would be wonderful for once."

They took the lift to deck3 and headed to his quarters, the door opened and they entered. 'Make yourself at home, dont mind the pillow on the floor thats where I sleep, can I get you something to drink?" He asked.

"I'm a bit partial to root beer, to be honest." she replied warmly, walking aside so she can strip off her jumpsuit to reviel a much-cleaner standarduniform. "Beats water any day."

Vinnie watched her, and gave a small smile, she had the looks at personality but would they clash due to their different cultures. "Ok, one root beer coming up." He said walking over to the replicator and ordering it, he brought it to her and handed it to her.

The Caitan nodded politely and took the glass to the couch, setting it down on a table to fold up her jumpsuit. Her frame was youthful and trim, though she tended to tailor her uniform on the baggier side to hide it. She glanced shyly over, taking a look over Vinnie's frame. "Nothing for yourself?" she asked curiously, leaning over to sip at her drink.

"I drink ice tea, and make it myself, you can sit out here or come sit at the table and talk while I cook, do you like chicken?"

"I've had hot wings before... those were quite good." she thought to herself. "Those are chicken, right?" she asked as she stood back up, following you to the dining room.

"Yes they are, I don't make things too spicy, my stomach doesn't handle it to well, my mom and Sister taught me how to cook, so when I found out i would be exec here I wanted a kitchen and fought for it, i dont believe the Captain has one." Vinnie said. He took out the already cut up chicken from last night and put them in a pan, they were already seasoned , he heated the oven.

She thought a little, sitting down in one of the dining room chairs, tucking her tail between the spokes of the chiars. "I'd imagine... As for myself, my stomach seems to be made of Iron, you wouldn't belive the stuff I like to eat."

Vinnies eyebrows went up. 'I probably could imagine you could eat just about anything, you would probably think with me the same but no, I am a little more pickier about what I eat."

M'Kalek chuckled a little and took another drink of her root beer. "That's understandable, I'd bet with being a Commander and all, you can't afford to have an upset stomach on the bridge."

"Quite true, plus my weight stays relative, I dont gain or lose because of my metabolism, you and I have some similiarities species wise but some differences as well. He said pulling out a fresh salad he had put together.

"Like me being able to handle meat more easially than humans." the caitian offered. "But humans have an easier time with the veggies than we do."

"True, I dont eat raw meat, I tried it once, I wont tell you the end result, but my dad was not to pleased, mom well she warned him and my sisters laughed. I love salad, lettuce and those crunchy things im not sure what humans call, and only one dressing, italian I believe its called." He said.

"Crutons..." she smiled. "I had a human as a room mate who was obsessed with the stuff. She looked over cuirously to see how the chicken was going, tail lifting a bit in curiosity. "As soon as I hit Lieutennant, I'm spending my personal effects alottment on a tabletop range, and just experiment on food to my heart's content."

Vinnie checked on the baked chicken and it was done, he grabbed a pot holder and took the pan out of the oven. He got utensils and set the table and placed the salad in the middle. He took out two dishes and dished up the chicken, with two pieces left, he brought the dishes over and sat hers infront of her and his next near the other seat, he filled a glass with tea. 'Can I get you more root beer?"

"Thanks!" she replied, handing her empty glass to you. "You're a kind host, I must admit. Far kinder than the replicater is on most nights, I assure you."

Vinnie smiled and went to the replicator and got another root beer, putting the first glass in the replemant. "I may have a surprise or two for you tonight."

M'Kalek perked her ear in suprise, a soft smile on her face. "Now that I can't wait to see..." she replied as she waited for him to sit down to eat. making sure to roll up the sleeves of her uniform in a typical engineer fashion. "It's quite rare that anyone takes time off to get to know me."

"I find you quite fascinating, when you first joined the ship, I wasn't to sure I could work with a cat, but as I have had a chance to read the reports about you from Kaylee, I have found my uncertainty gone, and have grown to accept you as a officer and now hopefully a friend." He said taking a seat.

Her cheeks tinted red slightly from a blush, her tail swaying a little behind her. "I am afraid I am not as familiar with your profile, but I can assure you, that I know I can confide in you as a friend too..." she admitted, starting to nibble a little on her chicken.

Vinnie decided to spring his first surprise one her, he spoke to her in her language. "I think you are a very beautiful creature, I believe red blaze is proper for your coloring."

M'Kalek perked her ear in suprise, having not heard her native tounge since when she left her family to join the Academy. "And your cooking is the best thing I have ever tasted!" she added, stammering for a proper way to respond to such a nice compliment.

"Sorry if I shocked you to much there but when we are finished I have something to show you, anyway this is only a little bit of your language I do know, and some thats enough to get my face slapped." He said with a grin. He ate just enjoying her company.

She nodded politely, herself quite appreciating the company as well, far too used to just eating by herself in the jefferies tubes, on some quiet repair job that spanned her whole shift. "Makes me regret taking Romulan as my third language." she admitted shyly. "Not exactly a poetic language to serenade someone to."

"I agree, I can't sing mine comes out like a howl, about as bad as nails on a chalkboard." He said. Soon they were finished, he cleaned up the table and went to his bedroom and changed out of his uniform into a tank top and shorts, he grabbed his family album out of the closet and joined her on the couch.

M'Kalek followed curiously to the couch, sitting down next to him, taking a curious peek at the album. "My mom was quite into photography, but I gave my family album to a friend when we split after graduation...." she admitted with a bit of sadness in her tone of voice.

"You may sit closer if you wish, I wont bite, I promise. This is my mom, shes a ambassador, she has been to your homeworld, thats why I know some of your language." Vinnie said.

She nodded softly, scooting over a bit to take a closer look. "I've never been on my home world..." she admitted with a tone of regret in her voice. "I was on a space station my whole life."

"I don't normally show my fur but my fuir as you can see is black and white, I am called a terror, but I am what is called a rare terror, usually ones like me are highly dangerous, I happen to have a control of my temper better and my mind."

She nodded softly, taking a keen interest in Vinnie's discussion. "I couldn't imagine having to control such strong instincts... Do you have to take supressants of any kind?" she asked, hoping she didn't offend when she asked.

"No, just natural instinct, supressants on us dimish our senses a bit, you and I have similiar senses, heightened hearing and smell, I can tell if somethings off with the engines before engineering can announce it."

M'Kalek nodded softly. "Due to the excess ozone that they admit from being overheated. I'm impressed!" she admitted, giving a polite mini-bow. "Makes me wish you became an engineer rather than taken the Command path."

"Take a guess what my first posting was?" He said showing her his brothers and sisters.

She took a curious peek at the photograph, reaching over to point out you. "A fellow engineering grunt?"

"Yep, then security so, I was in engineering untill I became a Lieutenant, then security until I became Lieutenant Commander, and when this opened I was promoted to Commander, plus I respect Jessica and Artim." Vinnie said. His nose twitched slightly and he gently touched her fur on her head barely touching a ear with a finger then he pulled his hand back.

She couldn't help but look back ino Vinnie's eyes, holding her head respectully still as he touched her cheek... though her mind kept also drifting back to he Academy fling, Sellen, herself feeling a slight ping of guilt at enjoying this time with Vinnie, but her and Sellen were never formal boyfriend/girlfriend... "So I guess I have a lot to accomplish yet, after all, this is only my second month in this uniform." she finally replied, a hand gently patted his thigh to show that he did no harm.

Vinnie took a deep breath. "I hope I dont make you mad but here." He said. he gently turned her face and kissed her. He hoped she did not mind.

The caitian rose her ears in suprise, a gentle smile slowly grew on her face as she gently kissed his cheek back. "Thank you..." she whispered, as if ashamed that she liked it. Not that she didn't, of course, but... Sellen and all... but Sellen's a hundred lightyears from here, and probally has a girl already. "And no... I am not mad at all."

Vinnie took a moment to consider what to say next. 'I'm sorry, if theres someone else in your life, I don't want to complicate things."

M'Kalek shook her head, smiling softly as she pulled back. "No no... Sel, he and I, we weren't anything but friends." she explained, "Contrary to any rumors you have heard." She didn;t really believe what she said, but the likelyhood of meeting Sellen again were incredibly small.

Vinnie smiled. "I don't go by rumors, and have not heard any about you anyway, he doesn't know what he has missed. I will be honest, I find you very attractive, I just hope my height does not scare you to much."

M'Kalek shook her head as she took a sip of her root beer. "Sellen was a Gorn, so I'm used to be around big guys." she explained. "Not much was bigger than him. And yourself..." she thought a bit, biting her lower lip in thought. "Well, you aren't a bad looker yourself."

Vinnie blushed slightly. 'Thank you, so outside of your duties do you have any hobbies, besides sleeping and eating?"

"Well..." she admitted, "I'm big into holodeck sports such as racing Earth Automotives and Football. I used to play football off of the holodeck, but my knee doesn't seem to be able to handle it anymore..."

"Interesting, mine or more here, I like to read and i play a keyboard, but mostly read. I dont sleep in a humans bed because its uncomfortable for my back, hence the large pillow on the floor, that I have had since I turned 17, usually by 20 we dont grow anymore, I generally stand about 5" taller then most gorns." Vinnie said. He reached over and took her hand in his and gave it a light squeeze and held it.

Her hand, well-worn from her hands-on job, remained limp in his as a rush of conflicting emotion filled the young Ensign's mind. She thought with worry on what her friends and crewmembers would think if they found out about this... an Ensign and a Commander is a large gap, after all. That and she couldn't help but fear what would happen if Sellen found out, but Sellen probally has a girl of his own at this point... she shook the thoughts out of her head before she gave a gentle squeeze back in encouragement. "I'll talk to the Quartermaster, and try to get you a larger bed." she smiled, not making any movement to remove her hand from his.

"No, its not the size, its the matress, I have tried different size beds, they wont work but thanks, if you are worried about the difference in our ranks, don't, who I choose to be with is my own business, and who I choose to fall in love with same thing. If anyone has a problem with it tell them to come see me and say it to my face." Vinnie said.

"I will..." she spoke softly, her cheeks now paling a bit in color. "And no, I.. it's not the rank thing at all..." she lied, not wanting to offend.

"I think you might want to get back to work, because I'm afraid of something to be honest, really afraid." He said.

She nodded weakly... "Afraid of what, though?" she asked, reaching over with her free hand to grab her dirtied jumpsuit

"We continue sitting here, I might like to take you over to my pillow and and just enjoy ourselves, cuddling and more, but I would not want to put you in a situation where you would feel uncomfortable. Yes, I am interested in you but I don't want you to feel pressured in anyway." He said with a smile.

She smiled politely, giving one last squeeze of her hand before pulling away. "And I'm not so sure I'm ready for that anyway...." she admitted, though she had gone farther with Sellen. "I... I'll make sure to swing by after my shift, for dessert perhaps?"

Vinnie smiled and kissed her again this time holding it a minute then letting go. 'You make me happy , now go on I will be back up on the bridge in a few minutes."

She took a few steps back so she could give a polite bow. "I'll see you then, sir."

Vinnie bowed his head and winked at her. They were definitely a odd pair but he did not care, a human could not keep up with him without damaging themselves and maybe he found his true love and someone who could keep up with him physically, she had beauty grace and charm, her striking orange fur was something, he watched her go the door almost closing on her tail.

The caitian, however, had mixed thoughts of her own, the girl feeling more guilt about the whole situation than anything. She fretted about what could possibly happen if word about this spread, or if she even felt the same way about him as he did her. But either way, she did know one thing: She wasn't alone on this ship anymore.

Vinnie cleaned up and made his way back to the bridge, she was back under the helm console working steadily, he went into the captains office and picked up several padds and returned to the bridge and took a seat in the captains chair.

A few minutes later the helm console let off a few sparks before coming back to life with a few characteristic beeps and chirps. "Finally!" M'Kalek exclaimed in well-fought victory. "She's ready for use, sir!" she smiled to the commanding officer, still on her back.

Vinnnie got up and walked over to the console and tapped a few buttons, running a diagnostic. "I do know how to run a diagnostic, I think?" He laughed.

She nodded politely as she rested under the console, thankful that engineering was pretty much the only profession in starfleet where one could lay down on the job and not get a repremand. "Should work, they are all new parts." she explaned. "Unlike the last batch we got."

"True, diagnostic done, everything is fine. The ship seems quiet with the engines shutdown, I miss the sound of the engines at full power even the impulse engines have a tone all its own."

"I agree.... but from what I hear, we'll be taking off soon." she added as she pulled herself out from under the console.

"Yeah when the Captain shows herself, whereever she disappeared off to. are you really bothered by what people will think of us, be honest, its hard to offend me."

She shook her head as she dusted herself off. "No, not at all...." she replied. "I think I am needed in engineering though..." she added nervously, suddenly feeling quite ackward.

Vinnie wouldn't push it, she would tell him when she felt like it, so he smiled. "Ok, I will be here for about an hour and a half, you know most commanders dont get their hands dirty but once I finish would you mind if I came down and gave you a hand?"

"I'll think about it..." she replied, slowly backing up to the turbolift. "Just give me a buzz, for all I know, I could be reionizing the water recycling tanks, and you REALLY don't want to follow me into one of those."

Vinnie smiled. "You forget, been there done that, I believe thats the human expression."

She nodded politely as she ducked into a turbolift, almost collapsing against its wall. The female had a lot to think about, and a lot to learn about life on this ship.

Liam heard his alarm go off and groaned. He forced himself to sit up and asked the computer to turn off his alarm. Walking into the main room he replicated a glass of water as he started to get his bearings. Sitting down sipping, the last remenants of sleep slipping away it dawned on him he was feeling better.

A quick shower later and in a towel he noticed he had a message from his brother teasing him. They had talked yesterday and as a result today was the day he started getting rid of the puppie fat he had gained in the last few months. After all he could not be a fat best man.

"Fresh fruit and yogurt," he said miserably to the replicator, wishing bacon sandwiches could be classed as good for you instead. The fruit was nice but he didn't feel full.

"Get used to it," he moaned to himself as he slung on a uniform and attempted to do something with his hair. Finally he locked and left his quarters and went down to sickbay to do what he had been dreading.

Smiling at the CMO as he moved in, he walked up to her.

"Doc, Im on a fitness regime. I need you to okay it and, "he rolled his eyes not looking forward to it. "Weigh me."

"Computer... Sickbay." M'Kalek ordered the computer before she collapsed against the wall of the turbolift. She closed her eyes as she rubbed her swollen nose. It didn't feel broken, and Vinnie never said anything about it bleeding, but she just felt more conofrtable talking to the doctor about it than just to ignore it. That.. and she hoped to talk to the doctor about some relationship advice, seeing as how there was no councelor aboard.

-- -- --

Rosella Majeski, a human female who was substituting for the regular CMO while she recovered from an infection she had gotten from an ill-configured containment field, gave a quick scan of the lieutennant commander. "Let's see... your mass index is about 5% overweight when factoring in your activity level and height." she replied in a slightly tired tone. "Down a little from your last physical, so that is good news at least. As far as your diet goes, I can approve that for you, assuming you read up on the latest literature on dieting."

<Tag: Liam>

"But of course, I know it won't be easy, and I'm sure one extra dessert won't hurt things. Just make sure it doesn't turn into two. And eyes up here, commander." she teased, using her medical scanner to lift up Liam's chin.

The caitian walked in on the two, the ensign's tail twitching in nervousness, herself holding a tissue against her slightly swollen nose. "Ooh, shoot, should have knocked first..." she commented, as she backed up to an empty biobed.

"Let's see... your mass index is about 5% overweight when factoring in your activity level and height." Rosella informed him. Liam groaned.

"Down a little from your last physical, so that is good news at least. As far as your diet goes, I can approve that for you, assuming you read up on the latest literature on dieting."

“Down?” Liam queried as the pretty doctor nodded. “Well that is a good thing. I think my brother owes me some money.” He flashed her a grin. “Yeah if you can recommend some stuff to read I’ll give it a whirl. I’m not looking forward to being hungry all the time or missing out of Ensign Borak’s Banofee Pie,” He grumbled.

She moved her hand from the scanner and Liam following it down to her side noticing there was no Wedding ring. Liam was left wondering in all the times he had been down here with Hannah why he had not seen this person before.

"But of course, I know it won't be easy, and I'm sure one extra dessert won't hurt things. Just make sure it doesn't turn into two. And eyes up here, commander." she used her medical scanner to lift up Liam's chin.

He flushed embarrassed, having not realised he had been staring; however his Betazoid abilities picked up something from the doctor that ensured him it was fine. There was a hiss, and Liam sensed some slight pain and confusion from someone else entering the room. They were alien, not one he was familiar with.

“Sorry Doc,” he winked at her. “I could take you for a drink to make it up to you?” It was a corny line but it slipped out before he could think of anything better.

<Rosella>

Smiling, he turned to leave when he spotted the Cat being on the bio bed. He remembered the personnel file. Who wouldn’t, her species was rare in Starfleet. He hung back for a moment as Rosella went and scanned her, and then moved off to fetch something.

“Liam, I’m the chief counsellor,” he told her giving her a slight bow. “You must be our new Engineer.”

<M’Kalek>

“How are you settling in?” Liam asked her as Rosella returned and pressed a hypo to the Caitian’s neck. Liam smiled at the human as she turned her attention to another person just entered. Sickbay sure seemed to be getting busy today.

Summoned to Fleet Captain Sequioa's ready room Professor Doctor Tyronius L. Krylah, Asst. Chief Science Officer aboard the USS Naphalai, found both Captain Sequoia and his Dept. Chief, Captain James, waiting his/her arrival.

"You asked to see me, Ma'am?" Tyronius asked, hesitant, glancing from one senior officer to another. Still unacustomed after arriving in this universe seeing male humans serving aboard starships he/she thought back to his last ship back in his/her own reality---the Terran starship, Chivalric aboard which he/she served as both Chief Science officer as well as XO.

And remembering him/herself in the position Captain James now occupied, he/she at Capt. Birgit's side when dealing with junior officers summonwed to Vicki's own ready room back home. Tyronius also remembered those meetings as being very rarely good news for the junior officer so summoned to her office.

And now, positions reversed, Tyronius felt the same nervious trepidation those previous subordinates aboard the CSC/SEA Chivalric must have likewise experienced.

Not that he/she had long to think about it, Captain Sequoia's voice cutting through his private musings like some straight=edged razor, Tyronius back now in the present

“Sorry Doc,” he winked at her. “I could take you for a drink to make it up to you?”

Rosella smiled warmly. Okay, this guy is cute. Not exactly a Romeo, but he may be good for a date or two. she thought to herself. She raised an eyebrow as the newcomer walked in, then shook her head. "Perhaps tommorow after Alpha Shift?" she offered with a wink as she walked over to help the Caitian to the bed. "And ANOTHER injury, M'Kalek?" she asked in a joking tone, gently injecting an anti-inflammatory into her neck. "Thankfully the damage is minimal, but I want to check just to make sure nothing was broken..."

“Liam, I’m the chief counsellor,”Liam told her, giving her a slight bow. “You must be our new Engineer.”

M'Kalek smiled softly from the bed, giving a weak wave back. "That I am... came here just a month ago." she replied, lifting up her chin as the nurse swung by to give her another injection, this time to ward off infection.

“How are you settling in?” Liam asked her as Rosella returned and pressed a hypo to the Caitian’s neck. Liam smiled at the human as she turned her attention to another person just entered. Sickbay sure seemed to be getting busy today.

"Not too well to be honest..." she replied, rubbing her neck where she was injected. "First I was suffering from lonelyness.. and now the Commander's hitting on me. It's hard to take it all in, you know..." she sighed, her mind still feeling quite confused and overwhelmed. "Is it like this for all starfleet officers in their first few months of service?"

"Yes," Liam answered honestly. "Well the loneliness part. Probably not so much the Commander hitting on you bit. In truth I don't know him well enough to finely detail his dating habits for you. In fact Im not sure I would want to do that," he chuckled. She laughed with him.

"But the loneliness part, I have been there, and still get it sometimes. Your not alone, lots of people have spoken to me about the same issue" Liam tryed to comfort her. "There are plenty of social groups and activities onboard the ship you know. I would be happy to help you find something your interested in and introduce you to some more people."

<M'kalek>

The pretty doctor came back, brushing past Liam ever so slightly as she informed M'Kalek she was free to go but amusingly she didn't want to see her back in sickbay again any time soon. Liam walked out with her pausing only to wave at his date for tommorow.

"So what are you up to now?" he asked as they were in the cooridoor. He wasn't actually on shift right now. "I know some folks who like to have a card game in ten forward. Fancy stopping by and seeing if anyones around?

"One thing I have noticed is that onboard any starship the best place to not be lonely is the bar," he smiled at her. "Never know who you will meet in there."

Vinnie was still on the bridge and continued working, M'Kalek was a mystery to him and decided that it was best to avoid her since she was not interested in a relationship with him, which was fine with him he did not trust cats and was starting not to trust this one.

Vinnie finished up with the reports and got up and stretched his back cracked, the captain's chair was made more for her size not his, he still had no clue where she had gone to nor anyone else. He typed his commbadge in thru the ships communications to alert him if there was a incoming that needed his attention.

He left the bridge and took the lift down to ten-forward, he headed down the corridor and entered there wasn't many people there but he did see the Counselor and M'Kalek sitting at a table, he decided to avoid them, he walked over to a table by the window and took a seat, a waitress walked up.

"Ice tea sweet please." He said.

She nodded and left, returned a few minutes later with his tea and left, Vinnie did not want to be bothered and would not intrude upon the counselors conversation. he looked out at the stars and sighed.

OOC: THought I'd make my first post a joint one, letting you decide what my next assignment will be as you naturally would if this were for real. Been waiting a long time to play and thought this would be the best way to do so, letting Tyronius' two most superior officers decide where he/she fits in concerning the present ship's assignment

She nodded softly, swinging up to a swinging position, legs hanging off the edge of the bed. "I think I should take you up on that." she smiled, pulling her tail into her hands, a habit she picked up as a child on a cramped ship. "I can't spend all my off-time on the holodeck alone, or in the excercise room." she admitted.

She nodded softly as the doctor dismissed her, and smirked at her suggestion to stay out. "I can't help it if those plasma relays have it out on me!" she teased as she followed the councelor out of the room.

"Well, I am on break for the rest of the night..." she admitted as she followed at the counselor's side. "And to be honest... and you're going to laugh at this... but I actually haven't visited the ship's bar yet." she splayed her ears in worry, a guilty smile on her face, knowing that she is such a engineering geek.
