Have you ever shoed a Horse?
In view of the current situation some Rebs find themselves in.

What is the biggest life changing decision you have had to make, or even been made for you?

Do you have any regrets, or is it too soon to know?

I've been fortunate enough to be able to pretty much just to go with the flow - any big decisions have been forced on me, so have just got me head down and got on with it.

Probably deciding to quit the IT business and move back to law.

Stressful life now with salary not as high as people expect. Most people seem to think solicitors are either loaded or crooked.

I wouldn't say I regret it but I am not sure I would do it again :hmm:

We still laugh at that. "Are you supposed to be here" "Of course, can I have another bitter". LOL.

Didnt realise we had so many rebs posting these days.

Recalled from the old days how this type of question always received a healthy post count, also showed us up to be the best board, we never judged and always offered advice if required, I know at some low points I had, the rebs gave me strength. Still regret taking RHS's advice though, I preffered having all of my tackle, the breast enlargement's go down a treat at the line dancing though. Low down, Hoe down.

Well a lot of you rebs know my story and gave me the strength and courage to make my big change. It's now 7 years since I left my ex and it was the best thing I've ever done (bar having my children). My daughters had no contact with their Dad for nearly 3 years, that's how long it took him to get his ass to the solicitors, but they have now come to terms with why we left and that it was the best for us all. He's still a tosser and dragging another woman and her kids through hell, which really saddens me, but there's nothing I can do.
Anyway, I've got Mr d'su now and we're still as happy as when we first met, although maybe not as pissed! The kids are all good and the baby rebs Cerys and Archie are now 5 and 3 respectively.

I still love and appreciate all of you who helped me through the turmoil that was my old life.

Think that was my initial point bud, I have never been one to open up about personal stuff, however I found it quite easy with the rebs, no one judging.

Only taking the piss.....

OK not really a decision but my two boys are the best part of my life
The relationship with their mum was perhaps not the best decision but I have 2 great lads so can't regret it
Got married again, which I do regret

Good decision - Recently moving out of town to my countryside retreat a few minutes walk to many of my friends in the Maidencombe coven...and of course the sundeck will soon become a useful part of the living room with the best views you're everlikely to get from your BBQ
You are welcome to check out the views LL but I can't guarantee sun over my deck

I'm not one to discuss private stuff but a few things I've done over the past few years has resulted in my seeing an awful lot less of people on here which has been difficult.

Nevertheless, when I do see certain people - nothing has changed which always says to me that true friendships have been made.

Me and Muffin are etrernally grateful

Have you ever shoed a Horse?
So here goes for mine, A week last friday, I told Jo (Baroness) that I didnt want to be with her anymore, that I would initially seek a legal seperation, and then Divorce. It is the most difficult decision I have ever made, as I have crushed someone who I Love dearly. No other people are involved, ie I am not seeing anyone else, It just wasnt working for me. She has yet to come to terms with it and still believes this to be a whim that will pass. I know it isnt. She has asked for me not to go down the legal route yet, however I am now going to seek advice.
Will I regret it ? Time will tell.

Bloody hell Daz. Quite a surprise that one. Only popped over to see if there are any stragglers and you pull that one out the bag.

You, and only you know the answer I'm afraid. Do what you thinks right, its the only way.

Blimey Daz, that's a big one and a shock too. That must have been a hugely difficult decision to come to, and most likely you've given it a great deal of thought, but only you can know if it's the right one. You know where we all are if you need help, advice, shoulders to cry on or just someone to get pissed and slide around on the floor with. Much love to you xxx
