Renaming the Bar; Lorimer not worthy!

Sitting in the pavilion tonight I was really impressed with Alan Clarke and his comments about needin the push and win. Settling for draws isn't enough.

He made lots of valid points which went against Lorimer's opening comments to the room about a quality game against Norwich! Which all around me disagreed with

Lorimer then went on to repeatedly call Somma Somna! Despite Clarke's gentle corrections.

Lorimer is a blatant diplomat and soften the blow, imnadraid I've lost most of my respect for him now and his constant pill sugaring

I want the bar renaming Clarke's bar!

I wasn't there but I do understand where you're coming from LL

My first reaction is to completely agree with you on this but to be fair to Lorimer,
who will always be a legend, he knows how important it is to keep the fans on board

At the moment it looks like we can push on and get a poss auto spot or
more of the unpredictable and get a poss play off spot.
Either way it's more than I expected at the start of the season.

Importantly, if the fans start to get frustrated and start to have a go at the players, it can all start to unravel.
You always get the 'they are professionals etc' but sport is all about confidence and these players need our strong backing.

PS Clarke was my hero as a kid, still a legend, still my hero

Nothing winds me up more than booing and people yelling abuse atthe end of the match! What good does it serve?!

Lorimer needs to do some major making up ronme at the moment

Sometimes it gives players a reminder that they're on massive salaries and liefstyles, yet we give more of a sh*te.....

If they played well and won the game or even played well and lost with dignity then there would be less end of match abuse...After watching the last 2 games even a Vicar would swear at the lacklustre defending, you could have driven a bus through the gap in the wall on Tuesday night when they scored their 3rd...
