In GeneralI agree with most points here.
1. Yes without Bates I am not sure where LUFC would be today. Don't care if he put any money in it or not.
2. Also agree that Bates is a Buisness Man and wants to see profit at the end of the day. But at the same time I also agree he has an Ego and wants to put 2 fingers up the FA. Again don't care about that as long as it is not at the cost of LUFC.
3. Agree that all sportsmen want to compete at the top of their profession, so Delpd leaving is no surprise at all. It happens all the time and not just at leeds but all clubs below the PL.

The only Gripe I have is that All Transfer Fees should be made Public. As soon as the word undisclosed Fee is mentioned. That leaves doubt in peoples mind as to where the money is going. So let FAmake the ruling on this that there should be 100% Transperensy in the Transfer Market.

By the first statement you said they've never been good enough but the second one you say they have been good enough.

I didnt say they have NEVER been good enough. I said they showed they were good enough 2 seasons ago, but last season the proof shows they werent.

The players are good enough, as proved by the -15 season.

At the risk of repeating myself, this ONLY proves they were good enough THAT SEASON

The manager at the beginning of last season wasn't good enough, but the manager at the end of the season (by law of averages) would have been good enough.

The manager is part of the team in my view. It is the same as saying "the goalkeeper wasnt good enough but the rest of the team was"

So the team is good enough, as is the manager now.

Still to be proved, but I agree with you on this

I know i was being pedantic and it was to wind you up, but you can't say the manager isn't good enough when stats show he was when he was in charge.

McAllister was in charge for part so Grayson shouldn't be blamed for his time in charge.

Think the point Lee was making was that if Grayson had been in charge we would have probably gone up automatically as the form under his leadership was much better.

I totally agree with everything you said about Grayson. I personally DO think he is good enough and have never said anything to the contrary.

the point that Lee was making about "if Grayson had been in charge", I also agree with. I think we could have gone up if he had had the full season.

The point I was trying to make was that the ONLY way the team (and that includes the manager) can PROVE they are good enough to go up, is by going up. Having a great 2nd half to a season does not mean you are good enough to go up. If you are good enough to go up, you WILL go up (excepting the -15 season). If you dont go up, you werent good enough, regardless of the excuses (excepting the -15 season again).

Saying your good enough to go up despite not going up is the same as saying you are too good to be relegated when you have been relegated. The end of season placings dont lie (again, excepting the -15 season).

As I have been saying all through this thread, my personal opinion is that we ARE good enough now. The team now just needs to prove it.

Delph gets his chance at the highest leve, Grayson gets money to spend if he wants (but says there's no rush) and the club get much needed money towards buying back TA.
Yeah shit sandwiches all round????????

We're going up this year, you mark my words!!!!!!!!!

At the end of the day we have lost our brightest star but if he is going to progress at a PL team he won't get a better chance that at Aston Villa.

I would love to see Man Shitty fall on their big spending asses this year and Villa break into the top 4.
