Whatever about Kaka, and the show-pony, but this is seriously flawed...... BBC Eto'o (28) PLUS £38MILLION for Ibrahimovic(27)? Add in Hleb on loan to Inter for the season too......Seriously? Anyone else think Inter must be pissing themselves laughing at this? I know IBra was top scorer in Italy last year, but he has hardly been trouble free since he started playing. I know Pep Guardiola wants rid of Eto'o, but £38M on top, he must be desperate....... Edited by Fitz, 24th July 2009 - 10:35 AM.

Inter probably said the £38m as a joke not realising Barca would bite. Ibra is a great player mind, I know quite a few in this country don't rate him but they have a little sex wee everytime you mention his name in Europe. Still, Inter must be laughing their way to the Serie A title again. |

Eto'o is out of contract at end of this season, Pep Guardiola has been trying to flog him round europe for the last season for around £10m cos of it. His wages are on a par with Messi and Xavi etc and he wanted more. Think he was asking for a Leeds style deal where they would pay his wages to be topped up. Think they've valued Ibra at around £15m more than the £38m Barca paid for him so Eto'o has made up the difference and Inter are paying the wages in full. Ibra still had about 3 maybe 4 season on his contract left. Economics rather than the quality of the player. Plus Eto'o is supposed to be as good for the dressing room as Anelka with a sore head. |

yeah silly deal on the part of barca but as matt said it was down to economics and not football as eto scores mreo and has buckets of pace to cause problems for defences and the other show pony is a lazy fecker too. |

Judging by the crowd that turned up at Camp Nou (Jealous of Real - never!!), Barca have probably made most of the €38M back already through shirt sales....... |
