The realisation that the season was over hit me about 12.30am last night. I still think we are a bit away from a championship team and I know Grayson is the man to lead us. Lets up Uncle Ken backs him this year.

ps. What do normal people do on Sats.

Morning/Afternoon fellow Rebels, very disappointed about yesterday.
Totally agree with Col, as regards to Grayson being the right man to lead us. The amount of ground lost before Xmas was just a little too much to gain. All credit to Grayson to get the Team motivated enough to get us in to the Play Offs.
I am hoping that Bates will see this as a plus sign and release some funds to the Boss for the next season Challenge. Plus lets hope some of our Assetts are retained as well, and that Uncle Ken is not thing of cashing in on some.

Good mourning

I think Bates knows what is needed both on and off the pitch

Whilst we all know that the team needs to keep the quality and hopefully add a little over the summer
I think Bates plans for deveolping ER are sound and should contribute to a sucessfull club when we do get back to the top of English football. We will most certainly need all the income we can get.
Although I agree it shouldn't distract the club away from what really matters next season.

We've all given Bates some stick as some point since he took over but he's put us in good financial shape which is even more important in 2009 than it has been in the past. I think a lot more clubs will suffer over the next 12 months.

Is it me or are more clubs releasing more players this year than you'd normally expect?
