cheers for the reminder spud!

was 14 at the time but caught it about three years later when i started getting into better music, some of the tracks on this are just phenomenal, and i didn't even need drugs to go as mental as others did....

Are we the same age - lol - I think I was 14 too... and was in with the 'rockers' (only coz I'd lend/make them GnR, Rage and Nirvana tapes from my brother's CDs), but was secretly into Ska - kept hearing bits of this from the 6th Form common room and loved it.

think so, an almighty 28, fat of the land was the prodigy album for me though, this was kind of secondary, but that be cos i was more into guitars but still liked the dance side too

same here... though this is the album for me, I saw them touring the other one in 98 and was a bit bored... i had (ashamedly) become an indie-bore-snob by then, fantastic to be able to listen to it again now and remember how awesome it was/is.

I've most of the stuff you young 'uns are going on about.

In '94 I'd been working in Dartford for 2.5 years and used to spend every lunch time in Our Price flicking through the CDs. Buying 2-5 CDs a week meant my collection grew pretty rapidly from quality music like Prodigy/Suede/Beck/Blur/Belly (to name but a few) through to more 'forgettable' bands like Spacemen 3 and others who I've forgotten......

I still consider this to be part of my 'new' music collection though.....
