The new Kaiser Chiefs album is out today which I've really been looking forward to. I'm also after the new Oasis one and the Mercury prize winning Elbow album
Anyone got any of these? Are they recommended? If not why not and what do you recommend instead?

Can't stop listening to the new Metallica album, it's fantastic. I'd like Oasis and AC/DC next but have been told to wait for Christmas.
Oh and I've got tickets to see AC/DC in April at Manchester and so has a certain Yorkiemateyboy.

I finally got round to buying the Dan Le Sac Vs Scroobius Pip album... been putting it off coz Thou Shalt Always Kill (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rWUJnT7s_Lc) was awesome, and thought an album couldn't possibly live up to it, but its actually soooooooo so so so good. I would definitly recomend it, even though it's nothing like anything I've ever listened to before; the lyrics are just amazing. Angles (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o17xCUwFhN0) and Tommy C (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x6-nNmREHEo) - bring a tear to your eye, and Letter From God To Man (http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=7KnGNOiFll4) is just pure genious.

woop, saw them support...... someone I cant remember who (!) and also saw them in our Union briefly, I was quite intoxicated at the time however. Thou Shalt Always Kill was a brilliant one. I remember the first time they played it on radio one, everyone was caling in for it again and again, couldnt find it online ANYWHERE and then it shot up in popularity. I havent listened extensively to their album, but on your recommendation Spud, I will!

I hope it lives up to my plugging!

I'd had it in my Amazon shopping basket for months, but not got round to clicking 'checkout' - finally do, love it, and then find out they played Leeds last week AND Leeds Festival in the summer... though they did clash with QOTSA and RATM - so they didn't stand much chance.

And April can't come fast enough!. Managed to get a "copy" of Black Ice and 'tis good!

Wouldn't mind the 'phonics Hits cd for crimbo - just nice to have them all on one disc (and I can't be arsed to mix & match on Media Player).

Getting more in to music dvd's now of live performances - saves on going to gigs as well!
