Some newspapers are hailing Brown as the man who saved the world, but is he the one who helped get us into this mess. What do others think. I hate the banks with a passion, but because we live in a world where stock markets are more important than old age penioners being able to afford their gas and electric, I understand the need for having to save them, but surely some heads of banks need to be sacked. |

Partly the banking system to blame I think, and an era of complacency, but indeed Brown should have spotted the downward trend far before we got ourselves to this point. Yes, he did the right thing in the end, but what other option was there? He pushed the only button left to push, and a little too late at that. |
