This is how the RD500YPVS would look if it were still made today
I listened to this on LUTV and we sounded as if we completely dominated the game. We are really hitting the back of the net so far this season. 21 goals in 8 games and only failed to score in one of them. I'm looking forward to watching the highlights but if you were there what were your thoughts on the game?

Its funny how things change round eh? After the Oldham game it was all doom and gloom but looking at our performances thus far and our record is WWLDWDWW. Not bad really is it!!

Depends if you count the cups or not as to how good our record is.

We are playing very good football, nice passing moves and plenty of goals.

but we also have the ability to have a mad 10 minute spell and throw games and points away. (yeovil penalty and 10 minutes after their equaliser, bristol 2 goals, Bradford after they scored, yesterday final 2 mins)

Getting there...
Best game for a while minus the Crystal Palace match, good attacking football - we've been dominating but not had the balls to have a shot in other games, this game showed how valuable it can be to just have a dig.

Looking forward to Saturday.

Four of the five goals were shots from outside the box and all of them were quality. We played superb Yesterday and the only down side was the two sloppy goals and a moment of stupidity from Lubo. Fabien Delph was fantastic.

Lots of confusion in the media about Lubo's sending off. I saw it as a straight red which is being reported in some quarters as being for violent conduct which certainly didn't seem to be the case. I certainly did not see a yellow issued for the second offence and a second yellow would have been petty and un-appealable, but a straight red is a different case so perhaps the club will appeal.

I thought it was a really entertaining game, and as soon as the third hit the back of the net we knew all around N5 that it would be five or six.

Sympathy for the guy three seats along for me who had £2 on 5-0 at 40/1 who was crapping himself everytime our lot broke forwards for the last ten minutes! :lolanimate:

Subscribed to and watched LUTV this morning. Definitely ref put up yellow and red with either hand. Couldn't give a straight red for a tug back......unless he was last man of course.

Yes I saw the second yellow then the red. It was a totally stupid and needless thing for Lubo to do, both him or Telfer could have got a tackle in before the lad had a chance to shoot.

Hmmm, I should have gone to specsavers.

Whilst on the subject of the ref - what has Dario Gradi got on the FA? Crewe are always the team that has the best record with cards from refs, yet there was quite a bit of gamesmanship and fouling that went unpunished.

Fabien Delph was fantastic.

That performance plus the four year contract we have him on must push his value towards the £3 - 4m mark.

TBH, I think Ken would laugh even more than when ma caught her tits in the mangle if he got an offer like that for Delph, even at this stage. That lad will be class.

Thought satdee was a combination of us being very good, and Crewe being very poor.

Crewe made no effort to close us down, despite the fact we were clearly on form with our long range shooting.

Having said that, you won't see 4 better goals than that in one game for a long time. I actually enjoyed Beckford's goal the most, as its the sort of goal we should be scoring, on another day the long range efforts might not have gone in (see Oldham game where our shooting was shite).
