Getting there...
I say play this team every week, strength and passing ability win matches!

Telfer and White were fantastic on their debuts.

Douglas as always held the fort and worked hard, if we're thinking about getting rid of him we must be mad - my MOTM.

Becchio is a talent, hard worker and you can tell he loves leeds - went absolutely mental when he scored almost jumped into the crowd.

Beckford worked his socks off, won headers and kept his head up - one of his best performances.

Kilkenny is immense, fantastic passer and great reader of the game, Kilkenny over Robinson anyday.

Delph will be good once he grows up a bit, bit naive and a bit too skinny for my liking.

Nobodies getting passed Lubo, FACT.

Enoch missed two sitters but I'll let him off.

If we play like this on Saturday against Bristol we'll get 10.

MOT!

East stand was it?

I remember being rather pissed off at a child who said he liked Neil Sullivan because he's welsh..

The Problem is, that Macca WONT play the same team at the weekend. Hi will most likely make two changes at most and we will be forced to watch the same underperforming shit that we have had to watch so far this season.

If it was me, I would be saying to the players left out last night, "You have lost your place because you have underperformed, it is up to you to get your place back". Unfortunately, manages just are not brave enough to do that, so get ready for the same old same old on Saturday guys.

I mean two changes to the team that played against Yeovil.

I was expecting a bit of a boring drab game to be honest, fuck how mistaken i was, travelling over on the train, both myself and Bridgey who had both had long days were struggling to stay awake, thought wed be guarenteed 90 mins kip at the match. The lads were superb, each and everyone of em. Bastituta will only get better and he played a blinder tonight, it cements the decision to play him up front with Beckford, won everything in the air and ran his socks off, loves Leeds. Praise to White at left back on debut, 16 years old played against a tricky winger, Moses, he can part many a defence but White played him well. Every other player contributed in some way, a great team performance by all of the lads. Glad i went now.. Ta to Carling for the comp tickets by the way.

'kin hell mate we've only played 5 games so Macca is still finding his best 11 and last night was the perfect opportunity to play some of the lads that haven't had the chance yet.
I couldn't go last night and I'm gutted after reading the reports but I'm sure Macca will have been delighted with the response from certain players. Bring on Bristol.

PS. the only thing that's bugging me at the moment is that Elding's scoring regularly at Crewe.

Managers reactions..

Leeds manager Gary McAllister
"I'm asking people to step up to the plate and when they get their chance to go and take it. I've got to say that from one to 11 tonight they all performed.

"It shows that we have a very strong squad of players here and competition brings out the quality in people.

"I thought Luciano Becchio(Batistuta) led the line fantastically, and that some of the combinations in the middle of the park and some of the movement in the final third was excellent.

Crystal Palace manager Colin Wanker:

"Quite honestly we couldn't cope with the front lads. Once the second goal went in it was disappointing to say the least.

"If you defend like that you're going to get beat against any level of opposition and I thought the two centre forwards bullied our defenders from start to finish.

"I'm not used to coming to Leeds and losing. I usually enjoy coming here and putting one over on them but they thoroughly deserved it."

As Kirst said, best chant of the night..

4-0 and its Warnocks fault..
Followed by, Warnock out.

Well my take on last night and purely just my opinion ...........Though we looked far better balanced with Douglas playing he breaks up play well ,looks after the back four and even scored ,i really dont want us to sell him his salute to the kop when he scored showed he wants to stay.Telfer superb last night never stopped directing the team helped the young lad thru his game and generally kept everyone on heir toes.Superb reading of the game and simple unhurried distribution for me Man of the Match but i aint a china man EH KIRST.. :lolanimate: Beckford and Lucy look very good upfront,Delph is a star in the making ,Killer some lovely passes....Unoch Showaddywaddy should have scored 3 but he managed one overall top rate performance ....

Nice to see Sky know what they're talking about...

"Leeds were excellent as they cruised past Crystal Palace at Elland Road, as efforts from Jonathan Douglas, Jason Beckford, Luciano Becchio and Enoch Showunmi secured a 4-0 win."

East stand was it?

I remember being rather pissed off at a child who said he liked Neil Sullivan because he's welsh..

why does it matter where i sat?

my season ticket is in the NEL so i couldnt sit in my season ticket seat.....

have to say tho that i had the worlds most irritating child sat behind me who thought that andy johnson was on the bench for us....
