Probably the worst player on the pitch in my opinion. Apart from the freekick, he seemed extremly nervous around the ball. But from watching we came back well in the last 20min. At least we go back to carlise with a fighting chance. Crowd was fantastic!! Well done for those he attended |

This is how the RD500YPVS would look if it were still made today

Dont get too excited about our performance over the last 20 mins. By that time Carlisle decided to shut up shop and defend their 2 goal lead. They still looked dangerous on the counter attack too. Still, as you say, 2-1 and we are still in there fighting. |

... and "What do you mean the whites are my team Kilkenny"? I don't think any of our lot played to anything like their correct level. If it was the crowd that spooked them then we have a big problem, because even if we do get past Carlisle (and I'd rate that as 50:50) we'll have no chance at Wembley. That said, we were the architects of our own misfortune in a large way, the second goal really came from the defence being completely unsettled by their huge screw up that nearly gifted a goal seconds earlier, and their first goal going in off Danny Graham's arse from a corner which should have been a goal kick. All goals count whether they are brilliant or ugly, but on the positive side, there is no way we can play that badly again. Hopefully the players will feel more at home in front of a crowd that will be just a third of the size of last night's attendance. |

A bit? Christ, i thought Stubbsy was being overly generous giving him a zero. I don't know what the fuck was going on in his head last night, he just seemed to think he was there to bollock Howson for trying while not doing a fucking tap himself. I'd have had himself and Richardon off after 20 minutes, and given Gardner (if he'd been on the bench) and Hughes a go. Mind you with Hughes's carry on at the end, he may not have lasted til half time...... |

I thought Prutton had a better game, he was the only player moving around. Freedman didnt have his best game, but was trying to make an impact. |

A bit better now that we got that goal. Their keeper was fucking superb, the first save he got a big hand to it, but the save from beckford was absolutely stunning. If its the pressure of teh big crowd, maybe away for the second leg is no harm, even at one down - You'd have to fanncy Beckford or Freedman to score. Never forget "Job Done" at Preston. |

Hang on a second..... weren't you just having a go at me saying we can't play that badly again? We were dreadful and yet their keeper had to make a handful of spectacular saves or they would have been dead and buried. The tie is still alive as I don't believe he will be as pumped up on Thursday - particularly if he has had a talking to about his goading the crowd in the South stand at full time. |
