regardless of whether ive got a ticket or not, i have to say that this has been an absolute shambles from start to finish. and theres wankers on waccoe putting in their application for the final before the time that lufc are accepting them from....apparently no applications before 10m means fuck all.

lufc have now set a very dangerous precedent. if the away ticket bookings are the same this year as last, no one is going to give a flying fuck about the 10am thing. everyone will just apply as soon as the fixtures are announced.

last year it was chaos but at least it was organised chaos. this is just ridiculous.

i didn't get a ticket through the application that i put into lufc put it that way. im lucky in that i have mates who could help me out, but a lot of fans won't have been that fortunate. and i am forever in debt to those people

lufc really need to take a long hard look at themselves over the close season and sort this mess out. tho they won't.

Agree with what you are saying hon, has been a shambles, for people like Balti and Eastyorks to miss out is apalling, the whole system needs to be looked at seriously. Where is the loyalty, club is doing itself no favours, still do the people at the top give a flying fuck? Doubt it. People may say if i really meant what i say i would give my ticket to someone more deserving, i reckon the games i have been to this season means i have a ticket on merit, just im not as worthy as some others. Still feel slightly guilty though.

See, if i was pedantic, i could argue that people acquiring tickets from friends is also against the system and unfair on those who applied properly and didn't get a ticket also. Not to mention breaking uncle Ken's membership policy...

Ahem.

I was winding you up Balti you tart. :D

I wasn't rubbing anyone's nosey's in it, if i've "cheated" the system by getting my ticket then that's your opinion. If you wanted to argue it, you could call me a fanatic for thinking about the aplication straight after the deadline, and when i was told we (not just myself) could apply from that point, i took this for granted and applied. Still, i could have being a bastard and kept this to myself, but i posted it on here because i knew several of you would want to go. Even so, i still sent an application as normal in the normal procedure at 10.00.01am, so i'd have got a ticket anyway.

There will always be arguments about who is more deserving than who, so i don't tend to argue that point. I agree the most loyal supporters should get priority, and then that also the membership scheme should be scrapped, but from a business perspective it doesn't make sense.

Still, if you want to continue the name-calling whilst not being in full possession of the facts, and even more so over an internet forum then don't let me stop you. Surely some people on here by now must have clicked i don't tend to mean what i post on here...

Thanks for the reply. I accept that I am easily wound up on all things Leeds, and do shoot from the hip sometimes.

Tickets, and the lack of is something you should NEVER use as a wind up. Especially when play offs are involved.

I applied in good faith like everyone else - at bang on 10 I might add, and didnt get a ticket. I can fully accept that if I lose out to people who followed the instructions like me. I would argue that a loyalty system should be in place, but that is another issue.

My insults were aimed at the stubbsy who delighted in crowing about him getting tickets over people who just about hadnt missed a match this season. If that Stubbsy is just a mischievous alter ego, then again, I apologise.

If I end up in the home fans, I'll keep my gob shut and politely applause any Carlisle goals - then go home afterwards happy or sad. If I get a ticket from another Leeds fan who cant attend, I'll accept it and cheer on the team as always. Either way, I dont accept any critisism on here or anywhere else, for doing either.

46 games, home and away this season gives me the right to do either, I feel.

oh just go enjoy the game in whatever end you are, you dont have to explain or defend yourself chuck. Whether people agree or not, or tease or not......you ARE going to the game, its all the matters eh!! I feel for all the fans who miss out, but there will always be fans that miss out....personally all fans are equal in my book and all deserve the right to go see our team, whether they can attend all games, most games, some games or very few games. MOT and all that!!!
