If you email them your application they'll "Keep it on file".

Hope you all did this, if so then you're almost guaranteed a ticket. All those who sent emails prior to the announcement this morning will have their applications honoured :D

Just need a way to get there now!

i didnt, but lufc doing that is hardly fair on everyone else that wants a ticket and didn't know to do it...... it does say on the site that no applications received before 10am on weds will be considered, which is evidently shite.

it all boils down to the same old argument, which is priority....

i've only missed a handful of games home and away this season yet someone whos just paid £50 for membership just for the carlisle game might get to go because they pressed a button a micro second quicker than me. its bollocks.

Recieved an email and also confirmed on the phone that any applications sent prior to the announcement will be honoured.

Why does it stink??

some might say it gives people an unfair advantage on those who have waited till an official announcement

Maybe so, but if they had the nous to put in an application asap (even before the said notice about waiting went up), then what's wrong with that?
Just shows initiative and determination imho.

so next season, despite bieng in three phases again, people might as well send in all their emails now, and not worry about apllication dates, like everyone else, its the same thing

im not blaming people for trying it, but it isnt fair on those that will miss out, but did apply withing the first 1600 that applied on the right day

hey, i'm not saying it's fair. thing is, it seems to me that it was a bit of a clusterfuck and application dates should have been put in place well before they were (maybe someone expected us to get auto promotion or summat?? :scarehair: ).
The people who applied early did so b4 the announcement of app dates and i do think it's right that their apps get honoured as it was an oversight on the behalf of LUFC and not these keen fans trying to jump the queue.

I cant see how they can if it only applies to those emails received before the announcement.

why should someone whos applied speculatively for the away leg get a ticket ahead of everyone else whos done things as lufc asked? if that's the case, i'd like a ticket please for either a. mk dons away or b. derby away. shall i send my email now?

if the emails that were sent in aren't scrapped, its a fucking travesty.

theres no harm in sending these emails, but lufc should have one rule for everyone. the only people who think its right are a. the people who, having sent an email, get a ticket and b. wankers who havent had the irritancy of waiting to find out whether they've got a ticket for shitty allocations all season.

if i miss out (having been to yeovil on a friday night etc etc etc) i will be seriously pissed off.

if i missed out through sheer luck then thats just the way it is....i can accept that.

if ive missed out cos someones sent a speculative email before everything is announced then i'll be mightily fucked off.

priority should be given on loyalty not speculative emails.

Paticularly knowing that half of WACCOE's regulars have applied already by email..

I have bags of admiration for people who support the team home and away.

I wish i could do it (as, i'm sure do countless other fans).

This year i have spent a massive chunk of the season shouting at the teletext screen from a dusty shithole in the middle east, when i would have loved to have been there in person with a pint in my hand.

Sometimes i think people dont realise quite how lucky they are to be able to get to see their beloved team home and away.

The people that really fuck me off tho are those that live nearby, HAVE the time, HAVE the finances, but cant be arsed to go until the big games come along.

So, can all the vitriol please be aimed at THEM!!

Thankyou.
