I'm going for confidence rather than pessimism. So here are the remaining fixtures:

1 March: Swindon v Leeds...............3 Points

8 March: Leeds v Bournemouth...............3 Points

11 March: Leeds v Cheltenham...............3 Points

15 March: Port Vale v Leeds...............3 Points

22 March: Leeds v Walsall

25 March: Huddersfield v Leeds...............3 Points

29 March: Leeds v Brighton...............3 Points

1 April: Doncaster v Leeds

05 April: Leyton Orient v Leeds

12 April: Leeds v Carlisle

19 April: Millwall v Leeds...............3 Points

26 April: Yeovil v Leeds...............3 Points

03 May: Leeds v Gillingham...............3 Points

So we MUST take 27 points from the smaller teams and stall the play off hopefuls to have any chance. The next four games are all winnable. We play Port Vale before Wallsall come to Elland Road so if we can get a good result there we can take that into the next game.

We're 9 points from automatic promotion, so it's still all to play for. McAllister has told the players to shape up and deliver on matchdays, looking sharp in trainign doesn't count for anything.

Come on everyone, we're not dead and buried yet!!!

Stay positive. We went on a hell of a run at the beginning of the season, with loads of hard work we can do it again. As soon as we start to get a winning streak going the fear factor will return to our opponents, and that might cause some of the playoff hopefuls to choke.

Aye we still have plenty to be possitive about

We would still be second in the league with the points

Remember way back when Blackwell was here and at the end of the season we had a day trip to Cardiff...? Well didn't we have a really poor run after Christmas then, managing to scrape into the play offs? It struck me that it's not impossible that we may do that again.

...The next four games are all winnable...

I think if we can win the next three now and get any points back from the Football League then we'll be in the play offs.

Hopefully, other teams will choke and we could even find ourselves very close to that automatic promnotion place... but I'm not going to get carried away just yet (well, maybe a little bit).

once we get urselves back on track i think that some for the other results will begin to go our way and we can force our way back into the playoffs with a very slim chance of getting into the automatics if we get some points back ie around 9/10.

Our first win arrives at the same time as our first clean sheet since the game at Crewe. For all the problems we've had up front, it would appear that our defence has been the root of some if not all evil during the poor run.

If we concede no goals we'll always be guaranteed a point.

but you can expect the Football League to close that loophole soon!"

Very good!

BTW, if we had a self-edit facility on this board, I would have added "but you can expect the Football League to close that loophole soon!"
