That's not entirely true - see my pic on my profile. He's a nice guy and I think he enjoyed his night.

All I am going by are the comments that have been posted here. Stubbsy said he was lurking in the corner on his own so he went over cos he felt sorry for him. The general consensus appears to be that he didnt fit in. These arent my words. I only posted a comment cos I just thought he might be a bit upset at a few of the comments. Just me being a softie.

I know Litebulb surfaces on here once in a while and I hope he knows that not everyone makes judgements so quickly,

Cuppy, as an extremely introverted person who does not socialise very well at all, can I just say that everyone on here, without exception, is extremely friendly and does everything they can to engage you in conversation, even with someone like me when in general I will go out my way to avoid social interaction with all but the people I have spent a long time developing an understanding with.

I think what I was saying isnt coming across in the right way. I read a few of the comments that were made and from an outside view I just felt they might not make nice reading for Litebulb. I am not having a go about what went on, I'm in one of me sensitive moods today lol....I just didnt want him coming and reading a few of the comments and him think people werent keen on him thats all. Does that make sense? Probably not lol

For the record I've never met Litebulb but always respected him as a poster on here. Its a shame on his first meet he was left to lurk in a corner, I always thought the rebels greeted everyone and tried to include them. Not everyone can be the centre of attention or funny, some people take a lot longer to get to know, sometimes when you are a regular part of things and are part of these friendships on a regular basis, you forget what its like for someone new to come along. I know Litebulb surfaces on here once in a while and I hope he knows that not everyone makes judgements so quickly, and should he read this you made me laugh a fair few times on here mate.

I take slight offence over this Cuppy. I spoke to Litebulb at length and sat next to him during the game. He was made welcome. Like others have said, and he told me himself, he enjoyed fading into the background, and enjoyed listening to others rather than being centre of attention.

He was a valuable member on this site, even for the amount of times he started a "I've just fallen off my bike" thread.......... or is that picking on him. We have all had the piss taken out of us, as well as taken the piss out of people and long may it continue.

Look I have tried to explain what I meant, maybe I worded it wrong. What I said was about the comments made here, I wasnt there, I was going by the comments made here and felt that if Litebulb read them he might be a little upset.

It was his first meet up and he didn't really know anyone, so he was basically lurking in the corner on his own. I walked over feeling a bit sorry for him as he seemed a bit left out, and he started talking to me about some scientific theories or something...

Safe to say it was a riveting night!

I remember that too ,it was rivetting stuff poor lad.

Meet and greet im light bulb, mm pleased to meet you mate , is he still about or did he diffuse quitley

I am not having a go at anyone, I just felt that people have feelings and a few of the comments should he read them may actually hurt his feelings. What I said was based on what other members have put here, so please dont take offence at what I said, argue some of the comments that were made. I dont want to have to keep defending what I said and if any offence was caused then I am sorry, I shall think more before I type in future. But as I said I was in a sensitive mood yesterday, had a few days of being told what a worthless person I am and I just wanted to I guess let Litebulb know that I really liked him

Apologies to all

Caz

No problem, and some of the accusers are not overly exciting themselves. It was just WW and I spoke to him at length, and made him feel welcome (well I thought so). But I can understand where you were coming from. TBH I never saw the following responces, and reacted before you explained your view, so apologise (if only slightly). And Caz, you are far from worthless, because every day you make me chuckle at least once. Twice on a good day.

I remember having a chat with Litebulb and he was a nice quiet unassuming lad.

On another point, Stubbsy and Tony look like a poor man's Style Council Long Hot Summer video!!!
