I drove to Bath yesterday to drop off WWjr2 to her dads and to pick up some things WW's mum didn't want. Bed, rocking chair etc. I hired a van and after going to WW's mums, we went to WW's dads and had some lunch. It was 6.00pm by the time we left.

It took about 3 hours to get home, we picked up Cerys and I said we needed to do some sandwiches for the vending machine. WW wasn't too pleased but we came down to our unit. As we sat outside I went into my pocket for my works keys only to realise I had left them in my car......... which was in the hire garage....... and I mean locked in the hire garage.

WW said good, lets go home. I said it would be a good idea only that I had the house key on the same keyring.

Don't worry, I said we will smash a small pain of glass and break in. I hit the door window with an axe. Bounced straight off. And woke ahlf the street. WW wanted to climb through the window.... but I wouldn't let her and I was scared I would get stuck. So we ended up, all three of us in a box room in my mum and dads. What joy.

I did comment on how do thieves break into houses without waking everyone up.

Morning all. Feeling pretty shit this morning- a combination of not sleeping in my own bed and a touch of morning sickness. Just hoping that we have a quiet day as Col and I are no good for anything much today.

Got all keys back at 8.30 this morning but we had to come straight to work. Can't wait to get home and have a nice shower, lie down etc.

My Mum and her side of the family are all from Hull and the surrounding areas- not too far from Ajays origins if I remember rightly. They've always thought of themselves as Yorkshire folk. They've never used Humberside in their addresses, just as we never used Avon when we lived in Bath!
