Two major things stand out from yesterday....here are two seperate comments made by two Tranmere fans

"Wise could see that we were not going to finish them off which gave them the boost.
Leeds got stuck in and showed more fight in the 2nd half. They looked fitter and were also able to get the ball in box."

"You've got to hand it to them T4EA, they stuck together in the face of adversity, and pulled off an unlikely win.

Didn't you hear them singing 'we're sh|t and we know we are' after conceding the first goal? Very funny I thought, but to a man they stood up and gave the team their full backing, which drove them on to re-claim the points.
Good on them.

We won't be the only team turned over by them with that spirit."

The players have come out of the pre-season friendly looking fit, how many seasons have we started a season and looked under par on the fitness front? Full marks To Dennis and Gus for recognising this has to be the first step to any season.

Secondly for anyone who doesnt think the fans are worth a win, I hope yesterday proved it. Fans have a massive impact on the game, and can see the team to victory, the spirit rubs off, and it showed yesterday. The fans backed the team 100 percent, the players saw it and repayed it.

How special did everyone find the players reaction at the end of the match? For the first time in years I believe we have a set of players who took pride in the shirt yesterday.

NOW LETS TAKE THIS INTO THE HOME GAMES!!!
