1) Apart from your ducks and Liverpool FC underwear do you have any plans or indeed already do have any other collections (the more adult the subject the better) on the go. Am not really an avid collector of anything specific. I like the little Lilliput Christmas Collection, got a few of them. But only the Christmas ones with lots of snow on mind! Hate the normal ones. I tend to get little obsessions, where I will be mad about something for a while, then along comes something else and that’s my new obsession. I like bears and badges and little nik nak things (not the crisps!) I guess I like collecting memories, little things that remind me of people or times, so I like little momentos. (not mintos!). On an adult theme I do have a bit of a fetish for……beep, your time is up on this question…..ah bugger. 2) Which band or musician do you feel has changed the world the most and why Dunno, I suppose I would say someone like Bob Geldof or Bono. Just someone who has brought ongoing world problems to a main audience. These things go on all the time but something like Live Aid saw how influential musicians could be. Harder to do today as we are now flooded (no pun intended here) by these sort of events, they have become part of the course and I think messages don’t get across as effectively because of it. 3) When you do one day make it to a Rebs meet, a) who are you looking forward to meeting most and why? Who are you most looking forward to carrying out an act of violence against and why? (No you can’t have Dee for both answers!!!!) ooooh so many rebels to choose from. I guess the rebel I have to say I am most looking forward to meeting is me bestest matess. Probably the rebel I know most about (we all have a cross to bear) and who knows most about me (and she gets to carry mine, lol). I owe her one personal thank you, one big hug and one bitch slap. After that there really are so many I am looking forward to meeting but especially m’duck, hippo, git face, ploppsie, mateboy, the farmers, matthews ashes and the practising catholics. As for the other part, well I am not a violent person but taking into account the last 3 years on the board I believe without a doubt the cockney monster has a damn good kicking coming his way. 4) What was the last film you cried while watching and why? (lufc DVD’s not allowed) Grrrr caught me out on this one. Okay okay, I’ll admit it was actually Titanic, was on the telly t’other night. It gets slated but I actually find it incredibly emotional. Just knowing that people actually went through this, I can’t imagine what it must be like knowing you are facing your imminent doom in that way. And I actually find the chemistry between the two leading characters really powerful. Can really feel that intense feeling of passion and love, one of the best feelings in the world….raw and new. And when she lets him go at the end…..ooooh tissues in full use. 5) Apart from being party to the stealing of the ER centre spot which we all now know was the start of the problems we face now, do you have any other sporting claims to fame? Firstly it was my dad not me!! Secondly it was the penalty spot not the centre one!!! Well I really can’t say I have any sporting claims to fame at all. I once held the record for the slowest time in the whole of my school for running the 100 metres. Charts were pinned up all over and there was me, right at the bottom for all to see. Am talking out of over a thousand pupils as well! I was the last person in my class to learn this swimming malarkey and during an obstacle competition I fell off a beam and tore me ligament in me leg. Wouldn’t have minded but the beam wasn’t any more than a foot off the bloody ground FFS. I learnt at a young age that sport was not for me lol. 6) Apart from the Risdale years leading to where we are now, what do you think is the biggest mistake ever made at ER Hmmm a tough one, I’ll go with the appointment of Brian Clough as manager. Nuff said. 7) Ok you know the drill on this one, 5 million pound lottery win to spend, where does it all go? Well I’d like to use that money to generate more money I guess. I’d love to set up an all year round Christmas store in one of the major cities, but not selling the usual type of stuff, unusual things, the type of store people would travel to visit. So I would invest the money in something like that, run the business at a healthy profit, and then use the profits to set up some kind of sanctuary for unwanted or problem dogs. Help get them back into loving homes. My sister is mentally handicapped so I’d also really like to make a valuable financial contribution to making the lives of people like my sister more fun. Help them get the most out of life. I would buy every rebel a season ticket for the following season and I would treat myself to a PSP. 8) Time for the horrible one!!!! Tell the Rebs 103 things we don’t know about you? (oh ok then, 3 things) eeeeeeeeh a toughie. Don’t want to be revealing too much now!! a) From the age of 8 I had to go for regular screening every year with every relation on my dads side as we were one of only 2 family lines in the world that carried a rare condition which made us highly susceptible to developing throat cancer. Had this awful stuff injected into us that gave you the strangest feeling in your chest. Not pleasant. But got free coffee and sarnies after, lol. Had this regularly up until I was maybe 17 or 18, then as technology developed they were able to isolate the gene and then tested my grandma. She didn’t have the gene so that was the cuppy clan off the hook. b Joking apart I really do suffer with OCD. Always have, right from being young. Luckily its not so extreme like washing me hands a million times a day….but you can get in cycles of it, where you do something repetitive and then you feel the need to do it. You can break it, if you nip it in the bud….you can see yourself starting to cross that line and can pull back. When I was young it was things like always having to look at a set thing before closing my eyes to go to sleep, had a thing about items being in groups of 5, and books had to be kept in pristine condition, no one else allowed to touch them. I still have the book one now and a few other daft ones, but overall its just something I laugh about. c) Once on the spur of the moment me and hubby decided to go and spend a bank holiday weekend at Aire. Departed about tea time on the Friday night (about 10 minutes after I got the idea), arrived about midnight to find everywhere was fully booked for the weekend, drove to different places, everywhere was fully booked, travelled further and further south through the early hours of the morning until we finally found this little place to stay at about 7am…great little place, little house in a little town called Mansfield….very similar to my house infact. Doh! 9) What TV personality really makes you want to throw things at the telly and why? There is none, I can’t afford to break another telly!!! People on the telly who annoy me are Russell Brand (just so not funny), Jeremy Clarkson (sorry but just booooooooring), and Tony Robinson (does the worst programmes ever). 10) Being a Leeds fan we obviously all know what you want for the club, but what in your honest opinion is in store for the club over the next 5 years, or do you even doubt we have a next 5 years? Good question. I really can’t believe that there will be no Leeds United in 5 years time. Dunno whether that’s blind faith or just denial but I just will not allow myself to believe that. Its pretty much taken 5 years for our decline to the point of us having to make ourselves shown at Billys statue, so would be nice to think we could climb back up in the same amount of time. In reality I think it will be a long hard struggle for us. The key will be to secure management stability firstly, be in a position where we accept this is the owner of the club, this is the management team etc. Once that is stable the players can focus on football for a change. A good youth policy is now ESSENTIAL to us making any progress. We are starting from scratch, and like all those teams around us we have to rely on good young players coming through the academys. This doesn’t happen over night, so in 5 years time I believe we could have the makings of a young squad, with a few shining lights, and a return to the Championship. Money will be tight but the club stable. All I ask for is a hard working set of players, who do their best and play for the shirt. |

Wouldn't be top of my film list but the bit where the old couple hug each other in bed when they know the ship is going down gets me everytime. If I'm watching it in company I make my excuses, leave, and come back after drying my eyes! |

And that was his best ever post on this board. Due to your selfish or careless (or both) actions the world will never get to see the true wit that is embodied by KD4x4.237894645373. The world mourns. |
