Questions for Loz

1. What’s the best thing about being Laura? And if you weren't you which famous person who would it be and why?

Never really idolised celebrities, and I wouldn’t want to be famous (aside from the financial security/shopping ;) ) but the best thing about being me is probably my friends. I’ve got people that have been my best friends for years, and they’ve never failed to be there. Some of my best memories are with them and I love them to bits :)

All together now… AHHHHHHHHHHH!

2. I love Leeds United because...? You must include why you picked them over, say, hmmm… Man U?

You are SUCH a git Lee! The Man U thing was entirely blown out of proportion, but instead of battling against the stories I went a long with it. I was never much of a fan, I didn’t understand the game, I didn’t really care. My association with the team was through my Dad, and when you’re 6 you don’t have a choice when you’re whisked away to Scumchester! But the rebels turned me (ooerrr!), I found an interest in Leeds, and I can honestly say it’s the genuine people on here. And that’s partly what took me to Leeds for my first game, and the minute I walked out into Elland Road I was just proud and I still have that feeling every time I walk up the steps hearing fans sing MOT.

Oh the nostalgia.

3. Did you enjoy your year off from education and would you make the same choice with hindsight?

Definitely, and a year down the line I STILL don’t know what I want to do! But I needed the opportunity to work full time and decide if education or a full time career and working up the ranks was the way forward for me. I’ve learnt far more in the last year and a half than I have in 3 years of working as a weekend kid.

4. When I grow up I want to be…?

Successful, financially stable, happy and have a family…. And own a Porsche betime I’m 25 (If I go to uni then there’s no chance of that!) So maybe I can put that off for a bit! Oh and work for myself, conglomerate and rule the world….. Or I’d just be happy with my own company. If anyones seen Badger or Bust on SkyOne, that’s effectively what I want to do. Go into companies, buy them out and turn them around, sell them on for profit or keep controlling shares and bring in management. Ooooh royalities.

5. You have £1 000 to waste on anything for pure indulgence, what do you buy?
£1000? Is that it you cheap git! It’s a questionnaire you could have added a few more noughts!!!

Erm one MASSIVE shopping spree in Selfridges with my best mate oooh or possibly Meadowhall (I’d have made that New York if someone had made the fake cheque a bit bigger ;) ), and I’d take my 2 little cousins to Hamleys to top up the toy box.

6. Famous actor/singers: Marry, Shag, Kill?

Marry – No idea, I wouldn’t..
Shag – Brad Pitt, Think of the envy ;)
Kill – Ermm no one

7. Biggest regret or thing you would, perhaps, just maybe, do a little bit different?

I’m not going to mention names or details because the past is the past. But I would handle certain situations better, or rather handle certain information better, no matter how it affects the people I love.

I’d also have valued my last year of GCSEs and my ICT Alevel a bit more, I gave up because I didn’t believe I could do it, and subsequently, whilst my results weren't disastrous I think I could have done better.

8. Alternative dinner party question: You’re having a dinner party and you’ve got your five famous people eating bangers and mash… BUT what five people would you most hate to gatecrash? Must be famous/well known, living or dead (though being dead can’t be a reason, smartarse!)

Gene Simmons – Rude bastard
Hitler – He’d spoil the fun for all the non-blonde hair blue eyed people
Tony Blair – BORING
Sir Alex Fuckface (sorry Furguson)
My mum – She’d moan that we were eating poor quality sausages (cuz they blatently taste better)

9. Five things that we don’t know about Laura are…?
1. I nearly died when I was 9, and to this day they don’t know what caused it.
2. I wish I’d learnt to dance
3. I got to the competitive stages of trampolining
4. I’d love to be a Red Coat, even for a day just to experience it
5. I hate going in the sea… HELLO stuff lives in it!

10. Banjo string or G string injuries?
Neither thanks!!

I presume I get to ask some poor rebel questions now!? :D

I swelled up like the Michelin man. Was poked, prodded, and fed a cocktail of drugs intravenously for a week then they sent me home.

But according to my consultant, I only had a few hours before I'd get blood poisoning. GREAT!

((thats the very sht version of the story!))

Whats happened to you!?

Long winded hon,so attempt shortened version. Went under a fast moving car transporter when knocked off my pushbike, another i was electrocuted whilst in the bath... Suppose no 1 was merely a dangerous accident, 2 i was lying face down in bath, uncle broke door down and i suppose to glorify rescued me. Might also be classed as a dangerous incident....
