Spent Paddy's Day in Liverpool - though why people who wear foam Guiness hats and queue to get in to O'Neils think they are Irish is beyond me?

Everyone is all of a sudden Irish on March 17th. Drives me crazy that more people in this country celebrate St Patricks day than St Georges.

Well then no beer and BBQ for you!

4th July is a pretty good time to have a day, pretty much guaranteed to be a nice day.

So if people who wear foam Guiness hats and queue to get in to Irish Theme pubs on Paddys Day claim to be Irish, what do people do on the 4th July to claim they are a Yank (and won't they go blind?)
