So far the only person that i have fought with my space wolves is Keg. I was using an anti-infantry list and he used a mainly tank guardsman list...which was quite mean I thought. he drove his infantry packed chimera foreward (for some reason I am yet to understand) I shot these with my longfangs pack and stunned one and imobilised the other. this provided good cover for my bloodclaws and lord squad with a wolf priest in it as well. I destroyed all of the infantry squads near me and on the board. My friend who I was playing with used his 2 predators to anniahlate some of the remaining tanks but were evntually destroyed by the manticore or something I can't remember its name. In the end i was lucky that the tanks were there. I had effective cover but I was eventually gunned down by a 5 plamsa cannon wielding leman russ. You need to use cover with space wolves because your special characters will die... instantly because none of them have the eternal warrior special rule. Highlight of the game - 1 wolf lord and a wolf guard killed 10 guardmen took 1 wound which i passed my armour save of and then they failed their moral test so the squad and a special character were ran down (all hail high initiative and lots and lots and lots of power weapon attacks) |

Erhem... Y-y-you see I... Gah, ok... I lost. Quite frankly I didn't stand a chance. But next time Adam, I'll pummel you! I swear to god, Guard are good for armoured infantry but seriously, one template and the whole squad is gone... That's a lot of points. I need to rethink my lists. Keg |

he probably will i get an insufficient lack of firepower to deal with any tanks :( long fangs are too expensive....but i am able to use a devastator squad as a heavy support :) |
